BACKYARD PARTY FOR ENGINE

September 29, 20192:00 pm - 6:00 pm

End of Season Backyard Party & Fundraiser for Engine

In the odd way of things in Maine, the end of summer is a bit of a celebration as far as locals go–a return to a slower pace as we say goodbye to our summer friends (frenemies?).

With that spirit, Engine Board Member Steph Edwards and co-conspirator Pete McGuire want to throw a little fall soirée in their backyard to close out the season AND keep our local community support of downtown redevelopment strong.

The event is $25 a person (includes fees). Proceeds go to support Engine after costs of event.

Browse this site for all the good things Engine does. And, learn more about Marble Block here and our National Endowment of the Arts grant here.

And there’s more: New Biddefordians’ Food and Art Exchange, Mural Projects around town, Fringe Fest, and on and on!

Your donation will get you a selection of wine from Lorne, beer from Banded Brewing Co., and an array of apps from the hosts…and probably Part and Parcel. Steph and Pete can’t do it all!

Engine is and has been a focal point of downtown Biddeford for many years for so many artists and creative spirits. It is a go-to for me: a retreat, a destination, a source for connection and ideas and community.

Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
