First artist in the ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ:๐—น๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ performance series is Scott McPheeters. His work โ€œBlazeโ€ will be inhabiting @enginebiddeford storefront window at 163 Main Street in Biddeford, ME. Taking place in Engineโ€™s gallery space, ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ is a walk up dance installation to be seen safely from the sidewalk.

en route // live : BLAZE is an installation and performance project that promotes a more reciprocal relationship with our more-than-human neighbors and investigates โ€œBlaze Orangeโ€ as a contradictory indicator of violence, safety, otherness, and assimilation.

BLAZE Dance Film will be projected and looped every 10 minutes each evening from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
Live Store-Front Performances will take place Feb. 10 – 13 at 5:30pm and 6:00pm.

Scott McPheeters (he/him/his) is a queer, site-specific dance artist and educator who researches the social and environmental dynamics of place. His work proposes vulnerability, intimacy, and empathy as imperative community building tools, and offers immersive opportunities for collective action.
