Inaugural Biddeford Bake Off

Ready… Set… Bake! Join us from noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5 for the Inaugural Biddeford Bake Off! Enter as a baker in one of the following categories:

  • Pies + Tarts + Pastries
  • Cakes + Confections
  • Cookies + Tray Bake
  • Breads + Rolls

Bakers are asked to register for $40 by noon, Friday, November 4, and bring at least 20 pieces (i.e. cookies, pastries, rolls, or tray bake) or one whole item (i.e. cake, pie, tart, loaf of bread). Compete to win best in category or best overall, with bragging rights and Biddeford Goodie Baskets to take home.

Don’t bake? Come enjoy the delicious treats for $25.  Tasting includes all of the entries as well as treats from Rover Bagel, Little Spruce, and Big Tree Foods. Drinks include coffee, tea and mimosas from local businesses. Come root for your favorite Biddeford Baker! All proceeds go to Engine.

All recipes will be compiled into the first Biddeford Bake Off Zine just in time for holiday baking. All proceeds benefit Engine.

Engine

Engine is currently located in the historic Pepperell Trust building at 163 Main Street, most recently a Bangor Savings bank. The building houses an events space, a small gallery, a co-make space, and studios.
