EXPLORING LANDSCAPES RUNS APRIL 3-15

September 12, 20247:17 am - 7:17 am

“Exploring Landscapes,” features work by Maine artists Judith Schneider and Sarah Baldwin and runs from April 3 through April 15 at Engine, 128 Main Street in downtown Biddeford. A reception will be held Friday, April 7, from 5-7pm.

Judith Schneider is a painter, a printmaker and a designer who investigates place and memory through landscape painting. The Maine landscape persists as a critical part of Judy’s art practice. Sarah Baldwin is a multidisciplinary artist who explores Maine’s wetlands and connection between body and landscape. Her lifelong proximity to the coast informs her studio practice.

Engine is and has been a focal point of downtown Biddeford for many years for so many artists and creative spirits. It is a go-to for me: a retreat, a destination, a source for connection and ideas and community.

Engine is a wonderful place to work surrounded by wonderful people who have infused so much love and light into the downtown of Biddeford. I cannot imagine a bright future in the town without this wonderful organization.
