Engine operates a community makerspace with a selection of fabrication equipment including woodworking tools, CNC routers, electronics, milling machines, fiber arts, and more on Main Street in downtown Biddeford. Currently the makerspace is available to artists and makers renting studios at Engine and supports Engine’s educational and entreprenurial programs. Plans to make available this resource for the public post-COVID are in progress.

What is a makerspace?

A makerspace is a collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing. Our space is geared towards the interests of creatives in our community which are at the intersection of art and technology.
